EdgePoint Tennis Community ("the App", "we", "us") is a free community tennis-prediction game. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your choices. Predictions are for entertainment and community ranking only — there is no real money involved.

1. Who we are

EdgePoint Tennis Community is operated by the EdgePoint team. Contact: support@edgepointtennis.com.

2. Information we collect

a) Account data (when you register): email address; display name / username; password — stored only as a salted bcrypt hash (we never store or see your plain password).

b) Gameplay data: your match predictions, confidence levels and comments; points, level, streaks, badges; follows / community activity you generate.

c) Purchase data (Premium): if you buy a Premium subscription it is processed by Google Play Billing. We receive a purchase token and subscription status from Google to unlock features — we do not receive or store your card or payment details.

d) Technical data: basic app logs needed for reliability and abuse prevention.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, card/payment information, or advertising identifiers, and we do not show third-party ads.

3. Guest mode

You can browse the App as a guest without an account. In guest mode we do not create a user record; no personal data is collected.

4. How we use data

To provide core features (predictions, leaderboards, profiles, community feed), compute your stats, and maintain security. We do not sell your data and do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Tennis data

Match schedules, results and AI win-probability estimates are generated from public tennis data and our own statistical model. AI percentages are reference estimates only and are not guarantees of any outcome.

6. Data sharing

We share personal data only with infrastructure providers that host the service on our behalf (cloud hosting and database), and with Google Play Billing to process subscriptions, strictly to operate the App. We may disclose data if required by law.

7. Data retention & deletion

Account data is kept while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time — in the App (Settings → Delete account) or via our account deletion page. Deletion removes your profile, predictions, comments, likes, follows, badges, XP and notifications. See the deletion page for exactly what is removed.

8. Community content

Comments you post are visible to other users. You can report comments and report or block other users in the App. We moderate reported content and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate our Community Guidelines.

9. Age

The App is intended for adult users (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Security

Passwords are hashed (bcrypt). Data is transmitted over HTTPS. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
